Founded in 1994 as a renewable energy education center, Rising Sun Center for Opportunity has trained Bay Area jobseekers for construction careers since 2009.

Opportunity Build is Rising Sun’s Oakland-based certified Apprenticeship Readiness Program for the building trades, approved by the Division of Apprenticeship Standards. We work directly with construction employers and building developers to match our graduates with employment in high-road careers.
