Another week in Pleasanton with California Youth Energy Services (CYES) is all wrapped up! The Energy Specialists (ESes) are still hammering away at our city’s energy and water bills. With two weeks of Green House Calls under their belts, it’s clear Pleasanton’s ESes are the perfect youth for the job. Their professionalism and passion for their work constantly blows me away.

In total we have now serviced 83 homes in the area! This week our site has also begun servicing mobile home parks in Pleasanton, specifically the Pleasanton Hacienda Mobile Park. If you’re a resident of one of Pleasanton’s mobile homes, make sure to give CYES a call to receive your own Green House Call! Our community outreach manager, Christina Mestas, will be out and about at the Farmer’s Market this Saturday, July 14th, so keep an eye out if you’d like to learn more.

This week in Livermore, it has been a pleasure to watch our Energy Specialists become more skillful and efficient at their job. Their check-ins have been perfect (no lost or missing bulbs!). One team even completed a four bedroom appointment in 55 minutes– record time! And they did it without sacrificing thoroughness or quality customer service. I’m so proud of all of them! We have also been installing WattsUp meters for the LBNL project and passing out lots of compost buckets to homeowners who would like to incorporate this green practice into their waste management routine.
