Director of Adult Programs

The Director of Adult Programs is responsible for the strategic direction of Opportunity Build, building and maintaining program partnerships, managing the Opportunity Build staff, and is accountable for all program goals and outcomes. This position helps to advance Rising Sun’s commitment to offering high-road career opportunities while building economic and climate resilience for priority communities.


Director of Policy

Rising Sun’s Director of Policy is responsible for developing and leading Rising Sun’s public influence and capacity to advocate as a 501c3, and for actively engaging in state and local policy to advance Rising Sun’s mission at the intersection of economic equity and climate resilience, with an emphasis on workforce development.


Climate Careers: Energy Assistant, Bay Area

The Climate Careers program was started by a small group of high schoolers who were eager to take direct environmental action in their community. In continuation of this pursuit, in 2021, Bay Area-based youth participants will have the opportunity to build their resume and professional skill set through work-based learning as Energy Assistants.
