Manteca Site: What this program means to me…

One reason why I enjoy working with Rising Sun Energy Center is because not only do they strive to conserve water and energy, but they also empower us youth to embrace our full potential and become prepared professionally. They offer a gateway into workforce in the most encouraging and motivating atmosphere.

Rising Sun is important to me is because of their focus in preserving resources that we typically take for granted. Often, people believe that one household saving water and energy is insignificant in terms of the statewide problem. But we’re teaching people something different. Since 2000, we have saved thousands of gallons of water, which is more important now than ever before. These numbers are growing every year as we provide service to more homes through the CYES program that is constantly expanding. Savings like these are important in preserving the Earth and allowing mankind to live on this planet for more years to come.

Another reason why Rising Sun Energy Center is important to me is because my co-workers and managers are one big family. We’ve been encouraged to get to know each other on a personal level. The Rising Sun team really cares for our well-being and progress in the program. While I have only been working here for less than a year, I always feel at home whenever I come to work.
