Rising Sun to Honor Accenture, at Bright Night Fundraiser

Berkeley, CA – March 29, 2018 – On Thursday, April 19, at 6 pm, Rising Sun Energy Center will celebrate Bright Night 2018 at the Ed Roberts Campus in Berkeley, highlighting Rising Sun’s continued achievements in tackling economic inequity and climate change through workforce development, youth employment, energy and water conservation, and climate justice throughout the region.

Bright Night is Rising Sun’s annual fundraising event, where the organization will welcome 300 guests including elected officials, corporate partners, community organizations making an impact within the San Francisco Bay Area, and individual supporters. This year, Rising Sun will present Accenture with the Bright Night 2018 award for the many ways they have supported Rising Sun to more effectively serve our community and participants.

Jodi Pincus, Rising Sun’s Executive Director, expressed her enthusiasm for the award recipient. “Accenture has exhibited a truly deep commitment to the quality implementation and improvement of Rising Sun’s programs. Their focus on advancing sustainability and creating a more equitable and inclusive society through technology has truly been essential in helping Rising Sun achieve even greater success with our programs. We are thrilled to honor Accenture and their remarkable contributions to Rising Sun at this year’s Bright Night event.”

Guests at Bright Night 2018 will enjoy hors d’oeuvres, wine and beer, a silent auction, and an inspiring presentation featuring Rising Sun’s program participants. Tickets are $75 and can be purchased through the Rising Sun website: risingsunopp.org/bright-night/.
